Mobilegeddon is here! Do you have a mobile website? Is your site Mobile Friendly?

Computerz101 is ready to help you with your mobile website needs now! Are you ready? The two simple questions I have for you are!

1. Do you want your website to be mobile friendly so it can fall in line with Google's current mobile search algorithm changes that took place on April 21st, 2015?

2. Do you want to capture the mobile search market and not have your current rankings drop? To acquire more traffic, customers, and or sales?(are you aware that by having a mobile website you can acquire higher rankings in mobile search?)

Mobile search is increasing everyday as more users are buying tablets, cell phones, and many other mobile devices on the market.

On April 20th, CNBC ran a news-story on their website which explained about how 'mobile search' was changing and now there are many companies in desperate need of keeping their mobile rankings and in turn need to make sure there website is mobile friendly.

Recovering From Google's Exact Match Domain (EMD) Update

Recovering From Google's Exact Match Domain (EMD) Update

So after a lot of reading I have found that the EMD filter is periodic. The EMD filter isn't constantly running. Google will be using the EMD Filter from time to time in order to ensure that what was filtered out before should continue to be filtered. Now it's also going to be catching EMD's that it missed previously.

If you were hit by the EMD update I honestly would rethink your SEO strategy. The advice of recovering seems to be similar to that of Google's Panda update. But if your stuck in the filter already and they are doing there best to keep you in there filter how realistic is that it can recover?

Anyway I still recommend removing low quality content and wait and see what happens.  Me personally I am investing more time in my primary site and dropping all EMD's unless they have a good PR in which case I will use them as a backlink source. You will only see a change if any the next time the EMD filter is run.

So when does Google plan to run the EMD Filter. They aren't telling anybody at this point, but I would venture to say within 3-6 months.

Now if you had an exact match domain name and you got hit then you were probably hit the the Exact Match Domain Filter instead of the Panda 20 Update.

Google Cracks Down on Low Quality Exact Match Domains

From Search Engine Land on Sep 28, 2012 at 5:05pm by Barry Schwartz

Google Cracks Down On Low Quality Exact Match Domains

The head of Google web spam fighting team Matt Cutts announced on Twitter that Google will be rolling out a “small” algorithm change that will “reduce low-quality ‘exact-match’ domains” from showing up so highly in the search results.
Cutts said this will impact 0.6% of English-US queries to a noticeable degree. He added it is “unrelated to Panda/Penguin. Panda is a Google algorithm filter aimed at fighting low quality content; Penguin is one aimed at fighting web spam.
This should come as no surprise, as Cutts said a couple years ago that Google will be looking at why exact domain matches rank well when they shouldn’t, in some cases.
Likely over the coming days, you will see shifts in the search results where many sites that may rank well based on being an exact match domain may no longer rank as high in Google’s search results.
Exact match domains mean domains that match exactly for the search query. For example, if I sold blue widgets and owned the domain name www.bluewidgets.com, that would be an exact match domain.
Keep in mind that this doesn’t mean sites with keywords they hope to rank for in their domain names are now doomed. Rather, the change aims to target low quality sites that might be riding on on the basis of exact matching.
For a broader perspective on Google algorithm updates, see The Return of the Google Dance on our sister site, Marketing Land. As for ranking factors overall, be sure to see our Periodic Table Of SEO Ranking Factors.

So most questions are what should I do about my internet marketing strategy now?

So if your internet marketing efforts are focused on making 1 page sales pages, also known as pitch pages this tatic no longer works google will remove it from the search results or sandbox it altogether. I would recommend trying a different approach. For other options on what you can do for your internet marketing needs visit http://www.computerz101.com/

Best SEO Tucson Tips 2012

There is a lot of hype with people saying SEO is dead and SEO is no longer effective not necessarily in Tucson, but around the world at this time due to Google's latest 2 updates. They are known as Google's Penguin update and Google's 2 Panda Refreshes and more.

The answer is SEO isn't dead it's just more complicated and time consuming then it was before.

Meanwhile content is still king, don't over optimize your on-page copy, don't build low quality non relevant links to your site and much more. It's more about quality with link building instead of quantity. Don't focus so much on keywords, but focus on your topic when it comes to internet marketing

Now if you used to use 3-10 keywords try to focus on tons or for short 50-75 keywords. You have to make sure you throw in different orders for example (Houston plumber, plumber houston), misspellings (plummer in houston), and everything else you can think of that is relevant to that topic. Now a few months ago we could get by focusing on the main money keywords, now it's way to risky to do it.

It's also a good rule of thumb to make sure your keywords are non-topical meaning ( Click here, Learn More, Visit this site, ) etc. Now it's also a good idea that if your on-page seo copy is keyword focused I can't stress this enough deoptimize it as soon as possible.

You probably think I am crazy, but when your rankings start tanking...you will be like I should have followed your suggestions and listened. In some cases it is also a good idea to remove backlinks just depends on your situation.

Internet Marketing Tips – Improve Your Websites SEO

Michael de Ceault, from computerz101.com, shared his thoughts on how anybody can utilize SEO (search engine optimization) best practices to increase page views, sales, and your brand.

Michael de Ceault is a professional Internet Marketer, Web Designer and Computer Repair specialist. He has been providing services to many people whether it’s small to medium size business or the everyday person that is looking to be found on the internet. He served as a member of Local First Arizona, Association of Computer Repair Business Owners and much more.

Properly done, SEO can enhance your online store, blog or personal website pages to help the search engines determine what your site is about,”  Michael told a clients of his.

He explains that best SEO practices help search engines like Google and Bing and Yahoo to rank your web pages high in results when searchers type in queries looking for items like yours.
Michael says effective SEO for increasing your sales is generally concerned with two things.
  1. “On-page” Factors.  “An example of on-page factors would be if you provide property management, you want that phrase and similar search terms throughout your content, like in your page title, URL (if possible), meta description, body text, heading tags, image names and alt image text,” he said.
  2. Incoming Links. “Equally important, is getting the links pointing to your site to contain the popular keyword phrases you want to rank high for. So if you want to rank high for the search term “property management”, you would first include the phrase as mentioned above and then set out to get incoming links where the linking text reads “property management.” You will want to vary your incoming links and the words and phrases included in your content so as to appear natural to Google and the other search engines. Google has sophisticated tools that filter out sites they determine are attempting to artificially enhance their ranking results. As long as you get links coming in “naturally”, you can start improving your rankings by making link-getting part of your daily marketing,” Michael tells property managers.
He suggests looking to social sites or websites who are focused on supporting “property managers” for help with enhancing your SEO. He says these are the fundamentals of building a successful website in any internet niche. He also goes on to say there are many other ranking factors, but some of the most important were just explained above.

For your home computer repair in tucson it's a good idea to install and use ccleaner which is a great pc cleaning utility at least once or twice a week to keep your computer free of files, logs, temp files and more that tend to build up everytime you go on the internet, turn your computer on, unisntall software, install software, turn your computer off and much more...

Another great piece of software for computers in order to remove viruses is malwarebytes Anti Malware I would highly recommend that you get the paid version which is only 24.95 for a lifetime license which has been tested to work on up to 2 computers... Now Malwarebytes with the real-time protection, automatic updates, and scheduled scanning abilities along with the real-time website blocking that truly works to protect your desktop computer from viruses and much more is one of a kind. It protects you while your surfing the internet. If you take the right preventative maintenance with your computer you may only need to go into a computer repair shop 2-3 times a year for a routine computer checkup, but other than that you should be free of viruses for a while.
